Dan’s legal training includes an LL.M from Duke University School of Law (Class of 2005), along with a law degree from The University of Birmingham in the United Kingdom. He is admitted to the State Bar of California, where his license is listed as Active.
Before founding his firm, Dan built more than a decade of experience with international law firms, including Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe and Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer, advising a range of sophisticated clients. Today, his practice centers on estate planning and the issues families often face before and after a loss, including planning designed to reduce estate tax exposure, planning for loved ones with special needs, and Medi-Cal asset protection strategies where appropriate.
